At Koko Bella Diamonds, we believe support should be clear, accessible, and free from confusion. This page explains how billing and payments work for peer support services, including Medicaid and private pay options.

If you ever have questions, our team will walk you through your options before services begin.

Medicaid Coverage

Peer support services are covered by many Ohio Medicaid plans.

  • There is no cost to the member for Medicaid-covered peer support services

  • We bill Medicaid directly when services are eligible

  • Services billed to Medicaid are not membership-based and do not require any fees

  • If you have Medicaid and are enrolled in a plan we are not yet contracted with, other options may be available

Medicaid plan participation may vary as contracting continues. Our team will always verify your coverage and explain next steps before scheduling.

Private Pay Options

Private pay peer support is available for individuals who:

  • Do not have Medicaid

  • Are uninsured

  • Choose not to use insurance for a specific session

  • Payment is due at or before the time of service.

  • Some private pay clients may choose monthly support options with automatic billing

30 - Minute Session

A brief, focused check-in with a trained peer who understands from lived experience. Ideal for encouragement, grounding, and short-term support between life’s transitions.

A full peer support session offering space to talk, reflect, and work through challenges with someone who understands recovery and growth from lived experience.

Group Sessions

Some group or community offerings may be available at no cost when supported through Medicaid or external funding.

Private pay peer support is available for individuals who:

Eligibility is determined by your plan administrator

Koko Bella Diamonds cannot guarantee reimbursement

Receipts are provided for all private pay services
